Shipping Policy

Order Processing

All of our fabrics are cut to order from large rolls of fabric here in our warehouse, which unfortunately means that shipping an order isn’t as simple as taking an item from a shelf and packing it up. Orders placed after 09:00 AM are likely to leave the next working day, however during busy periods it may take up to 72-hours to fully process your order.

If you have any concerns about the time it might take to process your order, we encourage you to get in touch with our helpful sales team to see what can be done.

All items are subject to stock availability, and any inventory counts posted on our website should be taken as approximate and indicative only.

Domestic Shipping (UK)

Orders within the UK are shipped via. Parcelforce, and we offer both 24 & 48-hour shipping options to suit your needs. Please do be advised that the shipping speed selected at checkout may not guarantee that your order will be processed any quicker, merely the speed at which it will be delivered once it has left our warehouse. Please see above for information regarding order processing.

Whilst we make every effort to ensure that goods are delivered on any date that we might specify, we cannot accept liability for out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries.

Full tracking data for all orders (excluding samples, see below) will be provided once your order has shipped, however this is an automated system and can sometimes go awry. Tracking data can be provided on request in these cases.

Sample Orders (UK & Worldwide)

Sample orders, both domestic and international, are shipped via. Royal Mail. In the case of UK deliveries samples are shipped either via first-class post or Royal Mail 24.

International customers will be able to choose between Royal Mail International Economy, or International Standard. These services will be priced accordingly at checkout.

Regrettably we cannot offer tracking data for sample deliveries.

International Shipping (Europe)

International consignment to Europe (inc. RoI) are shipped via. Parcelforce Worldwide EuroPriority. Delivery speeds for specific countries (and areas within) can be viewed at ParcelForce’s worldwide directory here.

Neither Fabric Online, Katrina Hampton Soft Furnishings, or Ambassador Textiles Ltd are responsible for any duties or customs charges associated with international shipments. Such charges are the sole responsibility of the person named on the delivery address and commercial invoice.

International Shipping (Worldwide)

International shipments outside of Europe will be able to choose between Parcelforce Worldwide GlobalPriority and GlobalExpress, and will be shown prices for each on checkout. Delivery speeds for each can be viewed at ParcelForce’s worldwide directory here.

Be advised that prices given at checkout are based on the best information we have available to us at the time of checkout, and we do reserve the right to amend them and request additional payment before completion of your order. You may cancel your order for a full refund in the event that carriage charges are revised upward and prove unsatisfactory to you.

Lost Orders

In some extraordinarily rare cases it may take up to 10 working days for your order to be delivered, and therefore we are not able to consider a refund for lost items until after this time has passed.

For international shipments we must allow for up to 30 working days.

Refunds will be processed in accordance with our general Terms & Conditions.
